when did you get bustled up?

this may be a stupid question, but i was just wondering, if you had a bustle on your dress, when did you get bustled up?  i definitely want to be bustled by the reception, but the question is, should i do it shortly after the ceremony or wait until just before the reception?  after the ceremony, i have time with the cashman photogs to go around the hotel and then my photog is going to take pictures around our hotel as well as adjacent ones.  my train is kinda long but could easily be held, and it would probably look nice if it was in some of the photos.  what did you do and what do you think i should do?thanks so much!  33 more days!  i can't believe it's almost here!  i'm just about done.  i have to sign some contracts, send in menu choices, and get bridal party gifts.  other than that, we just need to get to vegas!  i wouldn't have been able to plan all this without all your help.THANK YOU AGAIN KNOTTIES!

I had a pretty long train and didn't end up bustling it until I got to the reception. It looked great in some of the tour pictures we took having it unbustled- like you said it's easy enough to just carry.

My train was pretty big.  I had it bustled when we went to the Vegas sign and in the hotel.  Good thing too because it would have been uber-filthy otherwise. When we got to the Valley of Fire for the ceremony, I unbustled it.  It got re-bustled at some point during the reception.

I got mine bustled up right after Cashman pics, so right before the reception. Good Luck and Enjoy, it goes by so quick.

Generally after the pro pics are done and before the reception. Woohoo Closer and closer it gets to the day!

Ditto Jusstice. I plan to have the dress bustled for pics, unbustled for the ceremony, and bustled again for the reception.

I was going to do the same have it bustled for pics, than unbustle for the ceremony and than bustle it back up. It was too much of a pain so I left it down and everything worked out fine as long as you carry it when walking on the strip. I thought the bottom of my dress was going to be black and it was not bad at all.

unfortunately, once my bustle is up, it's up for good.  i have absolutely no problem holding my dress when we walk.   i think we're going to go back to our room briefly to take some photos so we'll bustle it up then and head over to the reception.  thanks for you help!  i love this board :)

Since we took photos before the ceremony, we bustled my gown right after the ceremony.
