I've been looking into an in-suite reception, I love the idea and how you can personalize everything...but, I'm not sure how well this might work for different age groups. I can see a group of 20-30 year olds working really well, but am having trouble wrapping my mind around older and younger generations. We would need some tables and with a group of 50-60 I don't see that happening in the MGM Terrace Suite or the MB Vista Suite. Any suggestions? As another option I like the price of having a reception in a private room at a restaurant. But what about dancing? This is another reason the in-suite option is troubling me. As always, thanks ladies!

I'm doing the private room/area at a restaurant (Kahunaville), but no dancing in our room/area. We are just going to head over to the attached bar after dinner for dancing and craziness. But, I didn't want to do the traditional dances anyway. If I had wanted to, the room could have accomodated a dance floor, and I would have just had to hire out for a DJ or sound system. You just might pay a slightly higher room minimum for a larger room for the dance floor.
