DOES ANYONE KNOW OF AN AMY HIESTAND (AMY COWARD)???

Hi girls!

I am looking for a knottie who had centerpieces that I am in love with. I had asked some other girls if they knew how to get ahold of her, and they suggested the north carolina boards. So, if anyone knows her or email information please let me know! Thank you!

ps- she was also a knot pick winner for her asheville, nc wedding!

Thanks again!

What did the centerpieces look like / when was she a winner?
Im not really sure how many would know the knottie by her full name.

Mmm Im not sure how odd this would be, but since you apparently have her name, you could try sending her a message on FB, assuming you have one. :o)

    Those are pretty centerpieces!

Those look pretty easy to replicate, what's your question?

yeah that does seem pretty easy.  i've seen candlesticks like that at pier 1, home goods, world market, z galleries...

ps...i've emailed a bride on facebook i didn't know bc i wanted to know something about what she did.  she was super sweet and trust me, any bride likes being complimented for all their hard work!

Oh totally easy to replicate... but super expensive for the wooden candle holders. I want 3 on each table and we have 12 tables. So I wanted to ask her where she got them, and if she was wanting to sell the ones she had. Also, in my venue we are not allowed to have open flame without it being in a hurricane glass or tealight things.. so I'll need to get Flameless LED candles which are also expensive.

What do you think about this idea? I was thinking taking 6 mini lanterns and putting them in a circle lit and having a small floral arrangement in the middle... thoughts? Those would also be their favors.

I like the lanterns, I wouldn't consider them favors though, even though the ad says that.  I don't think guests would think to take apart your decor as they leave.  I wouldn't really want to take a hot candle holder home with me anyway.

Favors aren't required, so if you do go the lantern route you could skip favors.

I think it would be really nice and eclectic if the candle holders in your original idea didn't match in style.  You could find them at yard sales, or goodwill or craigslist or the dollar store and then spray paint them all a single color to make it look cohesive.

At my friend's wedding a few years ago they put votives inside different height wine glasses that she got at Big Lots for like $0.50 each, and had a few of those and flowers on each table.  That might cover your venue's concern that the flames be somewhat enclosed as well.
