Stardust Suite at The Orleans

Hi Ladies, Has anyone had a reception and/or wedding at the Stardust suite in The Orleans? FI and I checked it out and it is AWESOME but I'm curious if anyone is familiar with this location.

I think Justicee? had her reception there, and from what I remember you have to spend 2000 on food/drink through them to have it there.

It's one of those situations where you question if it's too good to me true. I would love to see a review from another bride on food and service.Saturday minimum is $3k, Sunday is $2k and there is no room rental fee. Melissa - send me your email address and I'll send you menu pricing or email me at my name @ yahoo dot com

Yes, $2k MINIMUM for weekday $3 weekend. I just called them today. You have to book through catering. Debra was very nice today. The have menus online at http://www.orleanscasino.com/meeting-rooms/cateringThe party can go from 3 pm-12 am, but then you have to leave the Stardust Suite. They do throw in the adjoining suite to spend the night for free though. It's a little off the Strip, but there are shuttles.

I toured the suite this weekend and it can comfortably hold 70 people.

Hi- the food provided by the Orelans was totally awesome.  The presentation was gorgeous and th fodd yummy.   We had the Mexican buffet and it was delicious.  The service was great.  I can't speak for the wedding cakes because I paid the fee in order to have my cake from CakeDesigns.

Thanks Jusstice! I have a few extra questions: how many quests did you have? Did you have a DJ? Did you have dancing.

I believe I had 52 people (including the photog & WC).  I had a karaoke dj/emcee for the night which we cleared with the hotel first.  They played music for the cocktails/diner and first dances.  I had a specific area cleared for the dances (directly by the front door under the beautiful chandelier).  After that, it was karaoke.  If you look in my bio, under non-pro pics you will see a few shots of the suite with the karaoke setup.
