More Than 1 Witness??

Hi,
This may be an odd question - but can you have more than One witness?  I mean is there more than 1 space for signatures?  I stupidly assumed you needed 2 witnesses and have therefore asked 2 friends already and now realise everywhere talks about 1 witness

I always thought it was 2 witnesses?! I thought thats what your maid of honor and best man are for!

I also thought it was two. During our interview with our officiant, I could have sworn that she talked about both MOH and BM signing the license...

We had 2 people as witnesses, the MOH and BM. They  both signed our license too! Well just printed them names actually. LOL There's really only 1 long line for the witness, but they could both sign it.

I was told "at least one witness" but the norm is to have two... We're having one.

They both can sign, its only "neccessary" to have one
