A while back I was kinda (unnecessarily) freakin' out about finding a place for my bachelorette dinner. One of my bridesmaids took over the planning and worked with the concierge at the Platinum to find us a place. Not sure why I didn't think of that! The concierge, Gita, basically did all of the leg work for us (for both the bachelor and bachelorette dinner). She sent us menus and all the details. She was also able to do some negotiating in terms of drink prices and ordering off the menu vs. set menu. The guys are eating at Roys and we're eating at Yolos. I've heard on this board that Yolos is a bit of a pain in the ass to deal with, so I'm happy that she's made the reservation for us!

She also mentioned that she can help us get into clubs after dinner.

Anyway, just thought I'd share this tip! Contact your concierge for some planning help!

We didn't have any issues with Yolos - We had 25 people and made a reservation on our own, they did special menus and drinks for us, no problems with them at all.

Get everything in writing!

wallaceje:  Did you call and work with Yolos directly or go through someone else?  I keep getting the run around through Planet Hollywood's group reservations people about booking our meal following the wedding and have been trying to just get it done!  Also, I would love to know if you were "stuck" with the set menu they have online or if you changed yours at all and what kind of drink package you did.

@wallaceje: So glad you had a good experience! You originally pointed me in this direction, so thanks. It seemed like most of the "bad" reviews had to do with making the reservation, not so much the food or the night of the dinner.

@LifeisAPuzzle: From what I've read on here, your experience is fairly common. Others have suggested contacting Yolos directly and dealing with the manager instead of ARK group dining. I dealt directly with Yolos. My MOH called and made a reservation, we ordered off the regular menu and had pitchers of Margaritas plus anything else we wanted to order.  We had the entire back part of the restaurant too.  I started with the Group people, they weren't very helpful or didnt seem to know much, so I skipped them and called them restaurant directly.
