Tattoo Coverup?

Hi everyone

I'm hoping someone could advise me on what to do concerning covering a rather large tattoo I have on my arm.
I'd like to have it airbrushed out but I cannot find anyone who could do a consult quickly the day before and come out early on the day to cover it.

Everywhere I've seen has requested to see my tattoo first, but I won't be actually flying up to LV until the day before the wedding and even then I'm in the salon from 2.30pm onwards. All my bridal hair, makeup, nails are being done from 9am on the day so I have a small timeframe to get it done.

Any suggestions on who to approach that could work miracles would be wonderful, thank you :)

I know Harmony does tattoo cover up.  Her website is http://harmonyartistry.weebly.com/index.html

I asked her how much it costs cover up tattoos and this was her response  "If there are multiple and they are each the same size or smaller than the palm of you hand, it's ten dollars for up to 2 tattoos. anything bigger and/or more than 2 is $20."

    Hope that helps!

  • I know Francesca does tattoo cover ups, but not sure how much they are or if she needs to see it first.
  • Tattoos are awesome!! Why do you want to cover it up??
  • Because it's one of the biggest mistakes of my teen years, of which I'll be paying to have removed eventually.
I don't want it in my wedding photos, my other tattoos I can handle (wrists/shoulder) but this one is awful.
  • can you send them pictures of it?

Also, try dermablend.  It's got great reviews

  • I was looking into Derma, I've seen a few people recommend it.
I did try a colour wheel by Ben Nye but it was pretty much useless, and messy too. So I figured paying someone to do it properly would have been better, but I'll give this a try too :) Thank you
  • are you using the setting powder?  that can make a huge difference, Nye tends to run when it get hot (I'm trying to become a special effects artist).  My mom has a scar from surgery and it healed badly, raised and red.  I'm using some scar wax my wheels and covering it for her.
  • It didn't cover well at all. No matter how much I put on, the tattoo still showed through :(

  • This is the piece of awfulness I want to coverup =\
The tattooist was shockingly crap and well...not a lot you can do about it when you're 16 and stupid.
Now I just have to save to have it removed.
  • I also got my first tattoo at 16, which I now regret.  It's somewhat small, but I hate the location (on my stomach).

  • Yeah, the stupid things we do as kids >_<
This was my second tattoo, I've had 5 more since. It's just this one that is trash =\

I use to work at Macy's at a make up counter, sold a lot of derma blend to cover tattoos....it works pretty good as long as you get the setting powder. If I remember correctly it was $35 for the body cover and $30 setting powder
  • I called Harmony but she is booked. How can I get a hold of Francesca? Any other suggestions?
