Whats your timeline?

I am trying to put together our timeline.

Im thinking

tuesday evening-FI and I have dinner, then have all guests meet at the Flamingo to board the Double decker bus and do a strip tour for a couple of hours. We were going to have a meet and greet dinner but this sounds much more fun.

Wednesday- Pick up deli trays from alberstons around noon. get hair and makeup done @1pm and ceremony at 4pm. The ceremony shouldnt last more than 15 mins. After ceremony, take pics with BP nearby. at 6:30-7- meet at wicked spoon for dinner for 2.5 hours. Will this give us enough time to eat, cut a small cake, do a first dance, MAYBE a speech or two and be on our way? Should we extend it to three hours to be sure? We are going to order cupcakes and give them as the party favor since there will be so many desserts at wicked spoon. Im going to have to figure out how to do this. shouldwe pre-box them? let guests take one as they leave?

After dinner is over, go with todd in limo to take pics at LV sign, fremont st, bellagio fountains, paris, etc

POSSIBLY meet with guest at club or casino when we are done with pics. But im going to assume by this time ill want to go back to our room

Thursday- no idea. should we plan something with guests or should we leave them on their own this day? maybe have a farewell dinner? We leave friday morning for honeymoon

Re: Whats your timeline?

  • That sounds goodl.. not too much.. just right and still leaves people time to do their own thing

  • I'm not sure where you are staying or where alberstons is.  But I wouldn't want to run out to pick up the trays.  Is there someone you can have do this?  Or maybe have it delivered instead?

  • I know time is sometimes hard to estimate. I'm dealing with that for our photo strip tour. Im guessing that 2 and a half hours for the reception should be good. I don't think cake cutting and a first dance song will take that long. Even if you factor an hour, that gives your an hour and a half for eating and mingling... Luckily for us we arent having 150 people to mingle with. Is it a lot more to extend to 3 like you have mentioned? If it gives you piece of mind...
  • I think it sounds good and I think that's enough time for your reception. If you can add an extra 30 minutes it might be better though. Also for that thursday maybe you can do a brunch or something with guests who want to do that.
