Took the plunge!

Well, last week we were considering just moving the wedding up to this October since we were going to be there anyway... and we decided to do it! Over the weekend, I:

-Booked ceremony at Chapel of the Flowers- Glass Gardens

-Booked Todd @ Bently & Wilson

-Booked reception suite (Masterpiece Suite at the Artisan)

-Bought a dress & veil

-Got the JRD's wedding band (used the JVL Jewelry coupon code BRIDES for the free band- should be here this week :-])

I'm working on food, cake, & H/MU options & will probably book that stuff this weekend as well as a double decker for strip tour & invitations.

Question: has anyone ever seen in Vegas a party bus that is like a school bus but all open air? I've seen them in parades & whatnot here but I don't know if it's more of a Texas thing??

Kind of like this?? but the ones I've seen are a bit more open. Love the double deckers but would consider something like this too if it was available.

Wow, thats a ton of great checks.  We booked Todd too, I think I may just be more excited about that then anything else.  Sorry, I'm no help on the party bus, but congrats on the checks.

JRD - we're over at the Platinum Hotel, ceremony & reception, on the pool deck.
One of our friends is ordained in the state of Nevada, and we wanted him to conduct our ceremony. In fact, FI asked friend to marry us about 3 months before he asked me to marry him! So finding a venue that we could bring in someone was important.

Scareall, that's awesome, I looked at the pool deck there & it is sooo nice, what a view!!! & it's great that you have a friend who can conduct the ceremony for you. Makes it even more personalized.

Mine is the middle one & it's ivory, which I think is the color in the picture of the back of the dress. Was able to buy it off the rack & got an awesome deal!!
