Yes! Today was our anniversary and I have to say. . the year FLEW. Time flys with you're having fun (or life is happening). We've had a lot of different things happen this past year (the good and not so good), but overall, it's been amazing and I look forward to many years to come

DH surprised me this weekend. He kept saying we were just going to 'dinner' and that I needed a 'nice dress'. . one that could go with his suit. So I found a cute 'semi-fancy' (for me at least) dress on Saturday morning while DH went to pick up our anniversary cake.

Then we went to the Angus Barn for dinner (delicious! Surprise #1). After dinner we left there and I thought we were headed home, but drive into downtown Raleigh and he's pulled off surprise # 2, which were tickets to see 'The Producers' ! After that, when I think we're finally headed home, but thinking DH got lost, we get close to NCSU and then he pulls down this dark alley. I'm completely like 'WTH?' and low and behold theres a B&B right across the street from NCSU! Awesome bed, amazing spa tub and delicious breakfast this morning at the B&B!

So. . totally thought that was all, but then he surprised me again tonight by cooking a dinner I haven't had in 12 years, but it's my absolute favorite (Chicken Crunch).

We just finished the night by watching a cute movie and eating cake (Chocolate with strawberry filling and cocoa buttercream) in bed with a nice glass of milk

His 'paper gift' to me was that he named a star after me (the documentation is the 'paper')!



. . woah, totally just went off on a tangent It was just soooo much fun and a hugeee surprise!

Be sure to enjoy the most out of life, it's flying by!

That sounds like so much fun!!! Ahh..so jealous of all your surprises!

FI and I were at Angus Barn on Saturday night too with some friends of ours. We didn't have reservations, so we just ate in the Wild Turkey Lounge...so funny that we were so close to each other!

Hah! Our reservations were at 5:15 and I *think* we left around 7? DH was in a suit and I had a bluish stripped dress on. I have no idea where we ate was called. . .it was in the skinny dining area at the end of the bigger main dining area. (if that makes ANY sense at all )
