Enough alcohol for insuite?

And another question. I figured I may as well break it in to two different questions.

We have 42 guests coming to the reception, 2 of which don't drink (myself because I'm pregnant, and someone else). I'd say about 1/3rd are heavy drinkers, 1/3rd are moderate, and 1/3 are light drinkers.

Do you think this will be enough alcohol?

3 flats of beer = 108 cans of beer
5 bottles of white wine
5 bottles of red
3 bottles of vodka
3 bottles of rum
1 bottle of dark rum
1 tequila
1 bottle of blueberry vodka
1 bottle of whiskey
1 bottle of malibu rum

(If you haven't noticed, I am just over 2 weeks away from the wedding and am now stressing out that everyone will have enough food/drink)

Ah!

Use a drink calculator if you are unsure but I think that's enough.

The question is, do you have enough mixers?

Also, I would probably nix the items that you have one bottle of and add more bottles of the others.  I think 3 variations of rum is overkill.  Pick a great rum and stick with it (I would recommend something like Zaya which is smooth enough to drink on the rocks or neat). I'd also be sure that your whiskey was a higher end scotch whisky...otherwise I wouldn't do it.

    That's my thoughts.

I don't get married often, but when I do, I do it in Las Vegas.

Hmmm, that's true, 3 variations of rum may be a bit much. I'll nix the Malibu rum (I'm going to keep the bottle of dark rum for my parents - they love it) and add a vodka or something.

And yes, higher end whiskey or else get something totally different. Thanks!

I plan to get a fair amount of mixers. Plus bottled water/pop.

I agree with @smokeybailey. Keep it simple. Champagne, beer, wine- red/white, Vodka and Tequila seem to be staple hard liquor for margarhitas and mixed drinks, scotch OR whiskey, and 1 type of Rum if you want to have it.

www.evite.com has a great drink calculator or just use google "drink calculator".
We did this and it was very helpful and almost spot on...

For my family, that would be too much liquor and not enough wine. Do you know what they like to drink?

Yah we did a poll on our Vegas Facebook page and most wanted mixed drinks, a few wanted wine, and I know several of the guys going will want beer.

Some people requested random drinks like kahlua/milk/coke (my MIL) but we're not getting *that* crazy and getting specific mix for each request. That'd just be madness.

This seems like a lot of booze to me. I'd do beers, white/red wine, champagne, 1 rum, 1 vodka, 1 whiskey, 1 tequila and plenty of mixers: margarita mix, cranberry, sodas.

Here's the drink calculator mentioned above, in case it helps:
