    attended a bachelorette day at childress vineyards and love lexington bbq! but no, i am from charlotte :)

    Great to meet you all!! I go to Winston quite a bit and I live about 5 minutes from Thomasville, right off of I-85.

    I'm not getting married until Sept of next year, but I'm looking for a DJ in the area.  Anyone have any suggestions? 


    And Sarah, the picture in my signature is me and my FI at the Lexington BBQ festival in 2006?  Have you ever been?

    All The Right Grooves is a board favorite.  They're out of Charlotte but will travel.

    I was planning to use a compnay out of Kernersville, but then they booked my date with someone else before I sent in a deposit.  I'm trying to remember their name...

    ETA: I think it was "Anything Music"

    Hi Callie! Good to meet you too :)

    I have not been to the BBQ festival, but would like to get up that way for it! FI and I are using one of Charlotte's famous pig pickin guys for our RD though!

    I am actually calling ATRG in the morning because as the girls say, it is a board fave! I also have a meeting with Audio To Go...I have two friends who have used them this season, and they did a great job at the weddings (I was there), but the initial price they quoted me was a lot more than ATRG. I will update you after my meeting this weekend though!

    FI knows a DJ in Bear Creek (near Siler City also near Asheboro)
    Ben is the owner and the name of the DJ is Southern Entertainment but the website is southerndjs.com

    Ben is pretty cool I meet with him quite a bit -personal and wedding related-- and we were going to book him but changed our minds from DJ to live band!

    If you call tell him you heard through Thomas and Ginger :)
