Hey everyone-I didn't post much in here when I was wedding planning, but used this board extensively for planning our Las Vegas wedding so I thought I deinitenly owe it to all of you who are planning some reviews of our day. It was perfect for us!!!!
Wynn wedding salons-A+
We were married in the Primrose courtyard at the wynn. It was beautiful and everything that we wanted. I will say that it was pretty expensive compared to some of the other venues that we looked at, but our wedding coordinator Kabbie was excellent from start to finish. Everything that we wanted went off perfectly. Our flowers were absolutely gorgeous too. Reverend Walter married us and he really took the time to get to know what we wanted out of our ceremony. I can't say enough good things about the Wynn.
Cashman Photography A
In order to have a private photographer at the Wynn you have to pay an additional 750 bucks so we stuck with cashman to cover our ceremony and right after. Our photos are amazing. They really captured the ceremony and took some amazing pictures. We had a follow up appt. the next day and the price of the pics is outrageously expensive. If you are prepared for that expense it isn't quite as shocking when you meet with them. We ended up going with a package because if you buy things a la carte it is even more expensive. Still gave them an A because they did a great job on the pics. Just be prepared for high prices to get the pics.
Todd Wilson- A+
Todd Wilson of Bently and Wilson met us after our ceremony and immediately began snapping pics. We went to the Bellagio, The Mirage, the hangover parking lot, and Maggiano's for our pics with him. He said he has over 1000 images. We cant wait to see them. He was laid back and we had a great time with him. His reviews really are true. He is great and his prices are amazing. We will get the CD with the pics as well as the prints when he has them finished. As we walked out of the Wynn Kat Von D was getting out of a limo and we even got a few shots with her!!!
Maggiano's A+
We had our reception here. They were great to work with from the start. We had 85 for dinner at our reception and they did an amazing job contacting all of the other vendors and coordinating with them. Jeremy was our banquet coordinator on the day of and Sabrina was our coordinator for the planning process. Everyone raved over the food and the room was a great space for the reception.
All Night Long Entertainment- A
They are the preferred vendor for Maggiano's. We used them for our DJ and uplighting. There is a discounted price if you go through Maggiano's. The uplighting made the room look even better and the DJ was great. Everyone was dancing the whole time!!
LaTavola linen- A
Also a preferred vendor of Maggiano's. They did our tablecloths, napkins, and chair covers. We were initally going to skip this and just use the provided linens, but these linens were incredible and made the room look amazing. Ashley was great to work with and coordiated with Sabrina to make sure the linens were there on time. There was a small issue with sending the linens back however Sabrina took care of it with no further issues.
Pam at the Palette- A
Also a preferred vendor of Maggiano's. She did our centerpieces. They were gorgeous. She was very responsive and her prices are good as well.
Debi at Fit for a Bride- A
They did all of the dress steaming once we arrived in Vegas. We had all of the dresses at the front desk and they just picked them up and dropped them off the next day. Everything went seamlessly and our dresses looked great. There is an extra charge to have your dress picked up, but it was definitely the way to go for us.
Harmony Medina- A
Harmony came and did the hair and makeup for much of the bridal party. She did a trial the night before for my maid of honor and I. She is so sweet and personable and it is great to have someone come right to the suite to do hair and makeup. It made the morning much more relaxed than being in a salon. The makeup application includes lashes which is great and the airbrush makeup looked great all day long. She did a really nice job on all of us. She and an assistant did 8 of us total.
Jason's Deli A
Jason's deli did the food for our in suite rehearsal. It was great to just have casual food and a great time in suite for our Friday night rehearsal. The food was excellent, affordable, and they were very responsive and on time!
Las Vegas Custom Cakes- A
We had an excellent cake. It was a mad hatter style 3 tier cake. It was absolutely beautiful. My only problem was that with all of the food and additional desserts at Maggiano's that many people didn't get to eat it. We did get the top layer home for our anniversary which is great. I just wish that more of the guests got to eat the cake because it was amazing. We had red velvet, Yellow cake with peanut butter filing, White cake with rasberry filling, and chocolate witha bailey's caramel filling. YUMMY!
NTS limo- A
Also did a great job. We used them extenisvely throughout the weekend for many different things. They were always on time and responsive. We used them from the airport, to the wedding for the wedding party as well as guests, and after the wedding. We booked big blue for part of the day. It is a 30-40 person limo. That was amazing, but we used if for our picture tour and i would recommend a smaller limo for that. Because of the size of big blue it can't fit into many spaces so we ended up walking quite a bit more to locations because the limo couldn't fit. It was super fun to ride around Vegas in it though
Singature at MGM Grand B-
One of the only complaints about the weekend would be the signature. The resort is very pretty and I really liked that it is attatched to the MGM grand. We spent quite a bit of time at the MGM pools that were amazing. We had a room block at the signature, and all of the rooms were spread out between all of the 3 towers. I specifically asked for the rooms to be located in the same tower. It did create some problems because people were so far apart. This may have been an issue because we were there during the I heart radio music festival and the MGM was soooo busy, but it was ok in the end. I was just a little irritated because I specifically asked for the rooms to be in the same tower and they told me they would be. A few items in our suite were broken as well, but the suite was beautiful with views facing the strip or overlooking the MGM pool. We loved that!! Overall they did a pretty good job.
Our wedding weekend was absolutely amazing. We had quite a large group (85). We would never have done a thing different. It was truly the best day of our lives. We hope the same for all of you. Happy planning. I'm a little sad to be all done with the process. My best friend of 16 years and maid of honor got engaged at the bellagio during our wedding vacation so I'm super excited to get to be a part of yet another wedding
