Reception Suggestions??

I am currently looking at places to have my reception. My wedding is going to be small (20-30 ppl) so Im just looking for a place to have dinner (no DJ or anything like that, it doesnt need to be a reception hall). I am from out of town but will be in the area next week (only for 2 days) so I was planning on scouting out some places while Im there. I was thinking of Trevi in Caesar's Palace, or Manggiano's. Has anyone been to these places? Or do you have suggestions of other places that would be good for a party of my size? Thanks!

I can't say enough good things about Maggiano's. Cassy and Marc have been a dream to work with, the prices are exceptionally reasonable, the food is plentiful and the bar packages are really all-inclusive. We really like the atmosphere there too, it fits our style

I second that and I'm sure many others will agree. Cassie and marc have been amazing and I have no doubt my day will be perfect.

Rum Jungle in Mandalay Bay is really nice. They do a really amazing Rodizio style dinner and they have flexible bar packages. If you're group likes going out dancing you can add them to the VIP list to go back later on after your reception for free admission to the club.

I think you'll find a lot of folks advocating for Mandalay Bay on here.  Sounds like they have great packages and can really accommodate more of the traditional reception-style stuff (dancing, bouquet toss, etc.).  We were going for a more subdued atmosphere with just the nice dinner, so we're going with Eiffel Tower.  We've been working with Erika and Sharon and they've been very friendly and accommodating.  I can't promise that it's the best deal money-wise, but the view is incredible and it's got really nice ambiance (and from what I hear, food, too!).

I'm seconding PP's suggestion for Rumjungle's (Mandalay Bay) Rodizio dinner package.  We had 25 guests, it worked out great and the food is amazing.  You can also get your wedding cake as part of the package - ours was fabulous.

You can see the Rodizio menu in my planning bio.  DH called it "a parade of meat."

    Cool
