Good Morning!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I'm determined to be productive today. Today I'm getting the car washed, detailed & the carpets shampooed. DH asked me to try to wash it & I told him I would try to get around to it. He'll be pleased...YAY for livingsocial! I'm catching up on laundry, washing all our linens & posting tons of stuff on craigslist/taking some things to the salvation army to free up some closet space.

I'm also determined to choose our curtains & paint color for the living room. We painted it yellow (my idea) & I absolutely hate it. We've picked a green but I'm leaning more toward a seafoam greenish blue type color.

I applied for a position with the FDA a little less than a month ago & I just got a rejection e-mail. :-( I knew I was under-qualified for the positions I applied for but I was still hopeful that I would get an interview for a lower level & move my way up.

I didn't mean to write a book! I'm going to go for a quick run while I'm still motivated. I hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning! I'm sorry Krystal, that always sucks! Just remember how awesome you are and that some lucky company will love to have you, you just have to find them (which is admittedly the annoying tough part.) What kind of job are you looking for? I know you said you probably wouldn't use your degree if you didn't get the FDA position, but I can't remember what you said the degree was. :)

The weekend was pretty great! I worked on Saturday but it wasn't really stressful, and all my friends came to the event to help out so it was fun to hang out with them. Also on Saturday I rode my bike to the farmer's market and didn't die of exhaustion or anything (or get hit by a car)! I was very proud of myself. I doubt this is going to help me lose much weight or anything before the wedding, but I like having alternate transportation/something else to do besides walk.

Hope everyone's having a great Monday!

My major was in food science. Most people go on to get their master's but I don't like it enough to do that & I have no interest in going into R&D. I'll most likely look for a general lab tech position & go back for my MBA when our debt is paid off. I don't want to pay for more college until I have my undergrad paid off.

Good for you! Honestly, I'm kind of scared to ride a bike. I tried to ride DH's freshman year of college in the parking lot & I was terrified I was going to fall or not be able to stop. It was a mountain bike that was way too big for me but still... haha. That was the first time I got on a bike since I was like 7 or 8. We got a horse when I was in first grade & I was over bikes then. I wish I was into it because there are lots of places around here that are just a little too far away to walk but I feel wasteful driving to them. A bike would be perfect.

I was the same way when I first got back on the bike. But the good news is that once you do it a little more you start to feel more in control. I was scared sh*tless on the road with cars the first time but FI was with me and I kept reminding myself that I when I ride horses I have to worry about both myself AND the horse's mood. At least with the bike there is no moodiness. :) It helped me to build confidence.

Of course, I was in Carrboro where they're used to driving around bikes, I wasn't on a highway or anything. That is a hurdle I will conquer sometime far in the future. :)

    Morning!!

Too funny about the bikes :o) I'm wanting to get one as it's easier on my knee than running, but haven't found a deal I like yet.

Sorry to hear about the job. Something else will come along :o)

I'm cleaning house all day and maybe going riding later. . .such an eventful Monday Hah!

Good Afternoon!  I was at work earlier this morning, and they sent me home because we have to take so many days off before October.  So, I was more than happy to head on home and do some much needed cleaning.  I kind of dread it, but I will be happy once things are sparkly again!

Good afternoon now!  I had tje morning off and it was so nice to get my workout out of the way and run some errands. I think I need to work half days every Monday! I was at the beach this weekend and it was so nice to relax and spend time with my FH and my best friends.

I hope everyone is having a great day!
