In suite reception-Aria

Hi all,

After supper I will be bringing 20 guests back to the Hospitality suite in the Aria for drinks and socializing.  I am not sure how to handle the alcohol.  Ideally I would like to pick up all of the booze the day before the wedding and have it mostly set up and ready to go.  I would appreciate some suggestions/ideas of how to keep beer/champagne/white wine cold throughout the day while we gone doing ceremony/pics/supper etc..  Do hotels allow you to keep anything in their coolers?  If anyone has stayed in this suite before is there a full sized fridge?  (I am hesitant to ask the hotel for help in case they discourage in suite parties)

Thanks for your feedback!  This website has been a life saver for planning a Vegas wedding in 4 months!!

Hotels do discourage suite parties that are not catered by the hotel, therefore they definitly would not keep your outside liquor in their coolers. You could always get coolers for your room

The one in the room is stocked and works on a weight sensor, so if you move anything you get charged, even if you just pick it up to look at it.
Some of MGM's properties now let you rent an empty mini-fridge. Don't know if Aria does or not.
You can always go buy some Styrofoam coolers at the liqueur store.

We had our in suite at Aria in September. The Hospitality Suite at Aria has an empty fridge that is a decent size but we got a Rubbermaid container and just filled it with ice from the ice machine and also used the ice buckets from the rooms - we filled a few with ice for use in mixed drinks. We also called down to the front desk and the hotel staff brought us extra ice buckets (as well as champagne and strawberries). They knew we were having our wedding reception there and using outside catering and they had no problem with it - they were actually very happy and excited for us! Aria is a great hotel and the suite is gorgeous, your reception will be fantastic!

cpaquette- thanks so much for the information!  Everyone was a big help :)  I appreciate the suggestions and will most likely bring in styrofoam containers, but it is good to know there is an empty fridge.
