    Don't pay for any alterations now...you are too far out.  I bought my dress in January but when I went in for my fitting a week ago, it was way too big.  They are taking it in 2 inches in the bodice. 

    I highly recommend that you do your first fitting 8 weeks before your wedding.  It would totally suck if you paid for work and then had to have it reversed or taken in even more. 

    if you are just trying it on to try it on, go for it, but if you are actually being fitted for alterations, you should wait.

    I agree w/ Smokey on this one. If your dress had a corset back then it gives you some flexibility...

    I went in about a month out and then 2 weeks before and even with the 2 weeks I had fluctuated and had the lady yell at me that I needed to eat :/ Which I was....
