Nevada-Las Vegas

What are you wearing over your dress (if anything)?

So this weekend, my mom and I went shopping for accessories and I ended up ordering my shoes and a hair flower.  Then my Mom starts asking me what are you going to wear over your dress?  I had never even considered wearing anything over my dress.  So the consultant starts showing me these little bolero  jackets and none of which really impressed me.  Then she said if I didn't see anything, they could custom make one as well.  I never really considered April in Vegas all that cold in the evening but maybe it will be so I am wondering what other brides are wearing.  TIA

Didn't wear anything over mine, but it was June when we got married.  I wouldn't think it would be too cold at night in Vegas though.

I have thought about getting a bolero to out over my shoulders if it get cool.

Are you getting married outside or having your reception outside?

I feel like my dress is heavy enough that I won't be cold if my arms are bare.

I am wearing a short strapless dress, so I have a burgundy fur stole to wear inside as needed and an ivory dress coat for when we "strut down the strip."

Oh yes...We WILL strut. Tongue out

I didn't wear anything over my dress, I also was shown a few options where I bought the dress, but none appealed to me.
I bought a faux fur bolero to wear over the evening dress (I changed into that for the evening/night part of the wedding day) that worked well. I don't think I needed it, after all it was June, but I liked how it looked so I kept it on. Here's a picture

Thanks so much for the info ladies.  This was very helpful.  I'm not imaging it all that cold in April but I guess you never know.  We are getting married outside at MB (Valley of the Falls) and we are having a very small ceremony (15 people max) so we are planning on just going out to dinner afterwards as opposed to a formal reception.

I wore a jacket and our ceremony was at the end of September.  It was more of a self awareness thing and not a weather thing. It was lace and had some bling on it and I was never too hot or too cold.

This is the dress & jacket:
