Reviews 12/12/12 - Cheesecake Factory Catering & Aria Reception Suite

Cheesecake Factory – The reception was held at a suite in Aria (see below) and we contacted the cheesecake factory catering department for feeding our 35 approx guests. They have a catering menu so I simply picked out a few appetizers, salads, and entrées and then they were able to tell me how much we needed for that many people.  The service was amazing, the food was amazing and of course the cheesecake (which we used as our wedding cake) was to die for! It was Red Velvet Cheesecake and I have been craving it ever since! The one downfall is they don’t deliver but there are delivery companies that can take care of that if you don’t have someone willing to go pickup the food the day of.

Aria Suites – We decided to have our reception/supper somewhere a little more fun and new so we decided to try Aria. Neither my husband or I had ever stayed there but the pictures looked nice so we decided to give it try.  Well, we are so glad we did because it is amazing…everything is shiny and new feeling and the service is 5-Star!  We ended up getting the executive hospitality suite for two nights because we wanted to bring all the liquor and setup ahead of time, because it was a weekday we were able to get it for approx $500 a night and it is a pretty sweet room: Guest bathroom, Living Room, Board Room, Bar Area, Bedroom, Entry, and Mater En Suite.  We had a bellman bring up our liquor (it was a haul and they had no issues and we happy to help).  We also requested extra chairs for the board room so that everyone could eat in the board room together. It was a little tight with about 30 people in there for supper but we made it work and nobody was complaining because they were so amazed with the room!  Aria concierge also arranged for the delivery company to pick up our meal from Cheesecake factory which took another stress of us trying to figure it out. After supper and speeches everyone spread out in the board room and living room and mingled and drank to the wee hours of the night. Things got fairly rowdy but since the suite is on the very end of the hall we never had any issues with noise complaints. Overall, it is definitely my favorite hotel and casino on the strip thus far and I have stayed in most.  They were amazing!!!!

I don’t know if we were just really lucky or what but I never imagined things would go as smoothly as they did and I am so thankful for my perfect day and my loving husband. Good luck to all future brides and if you have any questions let me know and I will try to help answer any questions I can. Take care…

  • Congratulations!!!  Sounds like an awesome time!  Do you mind sharing with me some of the places that Cashman took you around the Bellagio for pictures?  I'm getting married at the Bellagio in August and I'd love some ideas of places to take pictures.

  • We took a bunch of family picture on the terraza of course...then we took some on the craps tables, their signature shot which is near the botanical gards, then in front of hyde (because I like graphic backgrounds), then out to the pool area, then out in front of the fountains....we had two photographers for part of the shoot and the one was actually better in my opinion but she had to leave and the guy we had for the remainder of our shoot had little imagination so i would recommend taking alot of samples of the type of pics you want to capture or you will just get the run of the mill ones.
