Greensboro Reception Venues

Hi!

I'm on the search for a reception venue in Greensboro that can hold 200+ people. My sweetie and I really want to have it at the Proximity Hotel  or O'Henry but due to our guest list that's not possible. I'm going to check out the Empire Room, but does anyone have any other suggestions?

Im not sure what the look you are going for, but the Revloution Mills Studio is an awesome venue.

I am having a hard time thinknig of places that can hold that many people, especially if you want any sort of sit down meal for the reception, rather than just a cocktail style.  There is the Marriot airport hotel that I think has big rooms, or Grandover.  They are on the pricier side though.  Have you seen Triad Weddings magazine?  If you look them up online it gives a list of places you can find them around town and they have a list of venues, with a checklist of different features at each one, that might eb a good place to start!

 Thanks for the ideas! I'll look into Revolution Mill and Triad Weddings.  We've looked at Embassy Suites and O'Henry which we love, but unless we start seriously cutting back on our guest list the O'Henry is out.

Have you looked at Aduamont (sp?) farm in Trinity? I went on a tour and it's enormous! Also 12 West Main is pretty big in Thomasville.

12 West Main would for sure hold 200.  But it's a little bit of a drive from Greensboro.

Thanks ladies! We decided to go with the Empire Room, we loved the space and it will have enough space.
