Re: MB renovations

  • Oh this worries me!!
  • and seems to be changing name in 2014
  • Their rooms with adjoining doors could definitely use an upgrade on the sound proofing.  Perhaps they could throw some money into the sh*tty MLife program while they're at it; one of the worst on the strip for comps.

    From the article:

"We also have The Hotel, which has a very high occupancy rate. But I had always referred to The Hotel as the Abbott and Costello brand: What hotel are you staying at? The Hotel. What hotel? The Hotel!"

    Ha! That's so true. :)

Yeah, they completely suck.  My casino host called me about a month ago and asked why I hadn't been in a while, I said, well, even though everything is always free, I still get hit with the resort fee which really pisses me off, so I've been splitting my time between Golden Nugget and Caesars/Flamingo.  She's like well all you have to do is have them call me when you're checking out, I was like look, you treat me well but I don't feel that I should have to ruin your Sunday morning to wake you up to tell some front desk person okay you can waive the resort fee.

I'm currently at almost important status level where I'm not guaranteed comps up front at MLife properties but I end up getting comped at checkout.  At the others, I mostly get what I want up front and there's no mystery as to whether I'm going to have a big bill waiting for me or not.  I personally prefer knowing hey, I have $X set aside to go on vacation with, and if I know I wown't have to pay for anything but gambling, I'll gamble up to that amount.  With MLife, I leave with $X and have absolutely no idea what will happen; and now it's even less predictable.
