Neon museum questions

For those of you that did a shoot at the neon museum did you do it on a Saturday?  I got an email from them and they said that they only do shoots Tuesday-Friday.  Did you feel you got enough pictures for the money?  How many people went in with you?  My email says that they close the museum just for the shoot, is this right? Did they have someone that went through the museum with you, or did you go through on your own?

We did ours on a Tuesday.    I personally think it was totally worth the money spent - granted it's only an hour but we got some really amazing shots.  And it's really great to have the place to yourselves - they do have a "host" that hangs around, I think mainly to make sure you don't damage the signs.  It was just the two of us & our photographer.  Here's the link to our photographer's blog post of our shoot, in case you're interested. We did ours on a Sunday morning actually. It was just me and my fiance. My parents came along because my mom was the photographer. They pretty much just show up and open the gates for you. You only get an hour, but for us it was totally worth it! We had a great time there and we want to go back for the tour. I would def recommend!

Is it truth there is a $200 fee to take pics ?

that's what my email said.  they also said that they aren't taking any reservations until march because they're doing some construction

Yes - the museum currently isn't open to the public so they do charge to give you access.  At the end of our session our host thanked us and said that the money is helping with the renovation.
