Did anyone get to go into work/school late or not go at all?

I got to come in at 10 and it was so nice to get that extra bit of sleep! Especially after FI made me stay up with him and watch the BCS championship! I'm glad Auburn won, partly because I like Auburn and mostly because Oregon's neon uniforms were giving me a headache!

I do wish we had gotten snow instead of the typical North Carolina ice storm...it just looks gross outside and everything is all slippery, not pretty like snow!

Our schools are out today, but we had an optional teacher workday, and we got to come in 2 hours late.  The northern part of my county got snow and ice...we just got rain.  BOOOOOO.

I got half way to work when my office manager called and said they were closing the office. My roads still aren't scrapped yet, and I drive a lowerd car, so needless to say, I was NOT happy lol.

Im enjoying relaxing, but just wish FI could be here too. He went to work at regular time, before the sun came up.

I'm a teacher so schools were closed for me today!! Yesterday we had an optional teacher work day...so I went in then.  I was so happy to sleep in today!  My FI didn't have to go in either, so we are enjoying the day together

My driveway is a sheet of ice. We're not going anywhere!
Poor Lucy is really disliking the whole 'ice box potty' thing. She needs some boots!

Aww, poor Lucy!!! At least we don't live up north. Then you really would have to get her some booties. Dogs in NYC have to have them or the salt on the sidewalks will hurt their paws!

Yeah. We recently got pictures back from our GEB lab in training in NYC. He had on his booties. Really cute )

I just got off work. Not that many people came into the office today, but I had some things that definitely needed to be done today. I did get to sleep in since we didn't open til 10, but there was so much ice on my car I didn't get to work until 11.

Poor Lucy! Bentley did not enjoy going potty on the ice. Poor thing was sliding around.

I am a teacher, and we are out for the 3rd day tomorrow! I just started my new job last week, so it feels super strange to have 3 days off.  I hope to get back in on Thursday!

I wont lie, I'd be okay with NCSU canceling classes, but I HIGHLY doubt they will.
