Scheme Events – Day of Coordination – A++++++++

I just don’t think that I can explain how much time / stress that these ladies saved me.  I absolutely would not have a wedding in Vegas again without them (hope I won’t have one at all, but you get my point!!!)  They took care of EVERYTHING.  The best thing I can think of to say is that they actually allowed me to enjoy the days leading up to my wedding and my actual wedding day without having to worry about all of the nit-picky details like what time the flowers were being delivered, etc.  For CP brides, there is a charge to place your favors – if you have Scheme, though, you can have them take care of it!  Just think of that as a little price savings.  I’ll admit that I thought the price for a full day of coordination was a little steep when I first talked to them, but if there was any money worth spending on my wedding day, this is absolutely the best money I spent.

EDI Photography – A++++++++++++

Again, I am not sure if I can explain how pleased I am with my pictures.  Edina, the owner, and her assistant (Peter) were such a pleasure to work with.  I don’t hear much about EDI on here, but she had gotten good reviews on Wedding Wire and I took a chance with her.  Boy, am I glad that I did.  She knew how to get us in the right poses, she knew where the best shots would be, and she just had a great overall artistic vision.  I am SO pleased with my pictures and would absolutely recommend her to any Las Vegas brides.  I don’t have my album yet, but with the pictures that she took, I’m sure it will be perfect!

All Events – Photobooth – A-This was a fun touch and I’m really glad that we decided to incorporate it.  I was afraid our guests would find it cheesy, but they really loved it….And the person who manned our booth (sorry, forgot name!) did a great job and the guests loved him.  Only thing I’m unhappy with is that we thought we were supposed to get a CD w/all the pics, but we really have to go download them all.  Annoying….Caesars Palace – Accommodations – B+When we booked our reception, we were told that we could sign a contract to guarantee a certain number of rooms and we would get a 20% discount on the rooms.  After we signed our contract we tried to get someone to follow through on this and it was one of the more difficult things that I encountered during my wedding planning.  Over a month after trying to get this done, it finally was put in place.  In order to make up for it, though, they put us in the newer tower at no additional charge.  Our room was beautiful.  Unfortunately, when we went to check in, there was an issue…because our package came with one night free, and that night was in the middle of our stay, we had 3 reservations.  At first they told us that we would have to change rooms, but after standing at the front desk for a good 20 minutes, they figured it out.  Double Decker Bus – Meet and Greet – A+We had a blast with these guys!  Only thing I wish was different about the bus was if they could hear the music downstairs.  We had a great time and our guide, ‘Bret Michaels’ was phenomenal.  He gave us good commentary on what we were seeing, he entertained us, flirted with all the ladies, and made sure everyone had enough beer to drink.  All in all – a great experience!Caesars Palace – Wedding Ceremony – BI’m sitting in my room the day of my wedding getting my makeup done and my cell phone rings.  It’s the wedding coordinator.  When I ask how she’s doing, the response is ‘Oh….not good.’  Ummm….That is NOT what you want to hear on your wedding day.  Turns out that she had a personal issue and had to leave and was just letting me know, but still….better ways to do that.  I also had chosen music to be played while the guests were being seated.  It was all classical music so when I was sitting in the Bride’s room waiting for the ceremony and it was more contemporary (Elton John’y type stuff), I didn’t really care.  Until the pianist starts playing “BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER”!!!  WTF?  I’m sure that the song has some uplifting message if you listen to all of the words, but face it, most of us just know the refrain.  I was NOT pleased.  Several of our guests noticed and even asked us about it.  The ceremony itself was fine, though my husband had to say more vows than I did – he had about 4 lines to repeat and I only had 2 – so I think the guy skipped something for me on accident.  Oh well, not a big deal.Caesars Palace – Reception Venue – AThe room was exactly how we specified, the bar was great and the service was impeccable.  All of the food, except for the entrees, was great.  The entrees were all right.  Nothing spectacular.  Caesars Palace – Cake – A+The cake was EXACTLY what we had requested!  I even think it tasted good.  I had a bit of a strange design (I had them merge two pictures I had found),but they made it work and it came out just how we wanted!All Night Long – Stevie – AStevie kept the music going and kept the crowd happy.  I was a little concerned because we’re probably a little older than the average wedding, but he did a great job.  Only complaint would be that we wanted our last song to be ‘Time of My Life’ and that didn’t happen.  LTEventions – Floral – A+Andrea really did a great job interpreting what I wanted and making it happen.  I sent her a picture with an idea and she ran with it.  The prices were very reasonable and she delivered everything personally.  Even when I had a late change a few days before the wedding, she took care of it, no problem.
