    Why did he say no to black?  I think it's a great option and allows the girls to wear the dresses again.  (I'll inherit my sister's dress afterwards.  yay!)

    Echoing everyone else, I think it's great you found something they can wear again so it's not just a one day kind of dress that just sits in the closet afterwards.  I'm sure your BM are going to be happy about that!

    Those are gorgeous! I'm telling my BMs to get any knee-length black dress, but some of them are having a difficult time with those instructions. I just want them to get a dress that they like, can afford, and will wear again!

    They WANTED to match.  Also, they ended up loving the floor length instead of tea length so they went with that.  My one friend loves it because she doesn't have a dress like it.  Also, she attends a lot of charity events that are formal so it's perfect for that.

    I was just happy that the 3 of the 4 that were there were all on board so quickly!  We did a March Madness bracket set up with the dresses.  They started with a collection that was whittled down to the Elite Eight and then they started going head to head.  It was a lot of fun.

    He says black make it look like a funeral and he thinks his family will "talk." Whatever, they "talk" about everything. I'm going with a burgundy red, instead. They get to pick their own dresses.

    Eh, give 'em something to talk about.  I'm hoping that we cause someone to gasp and clutch their pearls.  If not, I'm going it wrong.

    Good choice on the burgundy...although as an orange haired chica, I might want something with a little more yellow (towards red).

    I give them enough to talk about being the white girl.But I'm taking Spanish this semester so now I know what they're saying! lol

    Burgundy will match my hair and my two girls are dark brown/ red highlights. But we'll have to see what color my mom wants to wear, since she's a ginger
