Ceremony locations??

I was originally planning to have my wedding at the stratosphere hotel but they haven't responded to me via email yet (as I am an out of state bride) and feel I need a backup plan in case they tell me I can't bring my own flowers and my friend cannot take the pictures. I was thinking about the Shalimar wedding chapel but I read alot of bad reviews on that. I was also thinking 702 weddings but they get alot of bad reviews. I'm looking for something simple as I only have 6 guests attending (if that). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank Y'all.

Re: Ceremony locations??

  • Do you care if it's in a chapel?  There are numerous officiants that will go wherever you want to have your ceremony, then you can bring your guests, photo and flowers with you.

  • Exactly, you can have an officiant come wherever you decide. Some brides have in-suite ceremonies. It would be a nice option for your intimate affair. You would kill two birds with one stone, get a beautiful suite for the two of you and get married in it :)
  • Ok, no idea what happened to my post....
Anyways, I was echoing VG's suggestion and mentioned that some brides opt for in-suite ceremonies. It would be a nice option for your intimate affair, you would kill two birds with one stone :)

The board is eating posts today.  I posted something an hour ago about a christmas present and it's missing.  I'm waiting to see if it shows up later so I dont double post it.

  • I definitely recommend Chapel of the Flowers - it is the nicest chapel I found, not tacky at all and it hasa few  different chapels to choose from, including a garden area and a gazebo.

  • Depending on if you're willing to travel, Red Rock is gorgeous as well as there's this beautiful state park right pass Red Rock, called the Spring Mountain Ranch this is really pretty and then have a pond and some really pretty old ranch buildings and the back drop is beautiful red rock canyon

  • I was curious if anyone knew anything about Viva Las Vegas weddings. I want to have my ceremony outside and at night.  I was looking at Chapel of the Flowers, but the gazebo is not available when I want it.  Plus when comparing the packages the Viva Las Vegas one was about 300 dollars cheaper and offered more without having to add.
  • Has anyone on here had a ceremony at the Bellagio??  I am planning a destination wedding for next March and their packages seem the best...any thooughts?Smile
