Budget Bridesmaids dresses in Charlotte

I'm actually a regular on the Delaware Board, but I'm heading down to Charlotte for a weekend at the end of Jan. to go Bridesmaid dress shopping with one of my girls.  Since we have a limited time to look, I want to have a bunch of places lined up.  I want to be sensitive to my girls' budgets (they make very little), so would be happy with something $60-80.  Even David's Bridal doesn't have a lot to offer at that price.  I've looked online at Macy's, J Crew, Target, Belk, Group USA, and none of them have anything I like.  To complicate things, one of my BMs lives in Africa and won't be back in the US till three weeks before the wedding.

Anyone have any great ideas?  Discount dress shops in Charlotte?

Thanks!

If they're all pretty consistant with weight , you could try Marshalls or TJ Maxx and just purchase the dress for the BM that isn't with you and either have it as a gift or get reimbersed for it.

Or another great option would be to just pick a color and style that you're looking for and have the girls just find their own dresses.

I originally purchased my bridesmaids dresses from Belk.  I saw them in store for $86 - they were half off online and I had a coupon, so they ended up costing $34 each.  It was a shimmery cocktail dress, but ended up being too short on my taller bridesmaids so I returned them.  Plus - I'm getting married in the Fall and we opted for long dresses.  I would highly suggest looking there though!!  Good luck!

So I gave David's Bridal at Northlake a shot--even called and made an appointment.  Well, no one bothered to ask if I want to try on bridesmaid dresses or wedding dresses.  I sat around waiting for my "consultant" for about 20 minutes before finally informing them that I would just look around at BM dresses and when my consultant was free she could find me.  No one showed.  Finally, I went to ask the general manager a basic question about the BM dresses: how did we know what colors they came in?  No one had bothered to tell us even that much.  Finally, after browsing for about 45 minutes, I went back up to the front, told the lady I'd checked in with that I'd driven all the way that day from Alexandria, VA to Charlotte to look at BM dresses with my sister and could we please just get someone to show us around, tell us what dresses were on sale, what could be ordered, what was discontinued---ANYTHING!  So she appologized and promised that "Heather" would be right with us.  While we were waiting, my sister and I tried on 10 dresses...no one EVER showed to help us.  We walked out, determining that DB would NEVER get our business.  Found a GORGEOUS, perfect BM dress next day at New York Bride and Groom on South Blvd.!  $80 more than DB, but I was willing to pay because they treated me decently.
