Chapel package question

(little church of the west)

I have just realised that in the smaller packages, where it says you get 4 or 8 photos, its actually only 1 image, but several copies of it!!! How crazy!!! and if i want a few different images, I have to upgrade to the photo package for $300!!

I was going to go with the $650 package, so i would get flowers, transport and a few photos, but now Im thinking i might go for the most basic of packages and supply my own flowers, transport etc and upgrade their photo package. That way i get choice of flowers (and not just roses)

did anyone else have a similar issue??

We opted for a mid priced package with some more photography.  Then I decided I wanted more photography and booked an outside photographer for after the wedding.  These guys had great reviews and great prices.  http://wilson702.com/index2.php#/home/
Check them out.  You may be able to do the 2 hour package for 300 and get a ton of digital images which you can print at your leasure back home

I should have said, I already have todd booked for the whole day, but because he is not allowed inside the chapel, there wont be any photos of the ceremony! I thought the chapel supplied about 4 to 10 pictures which wud be perfect, but now I realize its 4 - 10 copies of the same shot!!!! and if i want any more i have to upgrade!! It sucks!!!

My chapel package came with a similar photo option.  The chapel allowed me to get a DVD of the ceremony instead of any photos which I will play at our home reception.  Using my computer I can take still frames from the DVD and print pics myself of the ceremony. I hired Tiffany G to do a photo tour on the strip.  I'm asking all guests to share their own photos with me and I'm hiring a photographer for the home reception.

Do they offer a cd of the photos? I am not using your chapel but my chapel also had very small photo package, but I bought the cd of photos instead to print my own pics.

I'm planning on getting married at the little church of the west also just doing the basic $199 package, I e-mailed them about the photography options or even using an outside photogrpaher and this was the response I got:
"In the Elope package you can upgrade your photo package for $108.00. This
would give you all photos by our photography on a CD instead of the 1
image printed. When doing this it will allow guests to capture photos
during the ceremony from their seats. We do not restrict on the type of
equipment being used just as long as it is hand held."
So since they don't restrict the type of equipment being used I may see if our photographer (Bentley & Wilson)  could take some photos from a seat.
    Hope this helps!

So, I queried this with the church, and they said the Elope package is really just for the couple, and not for a number of guests and its a shorter ceremony. Dammit!!!

That is why we opted for the 950 (ish??) package with them. We are not having a professional photog at all so we knew we at least needed good pictures of the ceremony. This package does not come with any prints, but a CD with all of the pictures and the copyrights. Also this package has the longer ceremony.
