Possibly stupid invite question...

Of the people you sent STD's to, do you still send invites to people that have already told you they can't come for sure?  For example a friend that had gotten pregnant (we've had a sorta long engagement) will have just had her baby so that's why they can't go...

I would still send them an invite, just to be nice. Maybe put a little note with it that says "I know you can't come, but I still wanted you to get an invite, in case plans change"

Besides, she may NEED a vacation after the baby comes... I know I did!!!

Yep...we are sending them even though people have indicated that they will not be able to make it. the main reasons we are doing it are because things change and they could be able to come and because it is always nice to be thought of!

I discounted 2 friends that have recently had babies as not going to come but one has booked already and the other just emailed FI about hotels etc.

Like PPs, we still sent out invites to those that said they weren't coming. Plans change all the time, and some people are undecided til the last minute. We actually had quite a few people that originally said they weren't making it, that ended up coming. It's better to be on the safe side.

Well-lll. As you know my expereince with those who swore up and down they were not coming was not the truth. So I'd say, yes! If you want them there, send them an invite. You never know. :)

I just wondered if said friends would be like umm why are they sending me an invite when I told her we can't go as we obviously just had a baby days ago.

Geez people are so selfish sometimes, hell the baby's out of you now, I say F it and jump on a plane:):)

Thanks ladies, that's what I figured but just wanted to double check!

I'm late, but I save some invites and programs as momentos.  Even if I cannot (or choose to not) attend.
