  • My wife doesn't use them normally but she had Francesca put them on her for our wedding and last month for an anniversary photo shoot and she really liked them.  I think they can be helpful for pictures; I think it would be odd to wear them on a daily basis for normal life but for a photo shoot or special occassion I like when she wears them.

I used to have them done regularly (the upkeep is just like getting your nails done and usually comparable price wise) loved them and never had a single problem.

I do recall though a girl on this board about maybe a year ago that had hers done and she said her eyelashes all fell out!!!!!!

If you have them done make sure you go somewhere that you get good reviews on. They are pretty expensive for the initial application, I paid $120 the very first time and that was with a little discount, then $40 every 2 to 3 weeks for upkeep.   First visit was about 2 hours and upkeep visits were about 1 hour.

  • I had them done.  Most of my eyelashes came out afterwards... For tha reason I would not recommend having a trial and just get them done as close to the wedding as possible so you won't need to possibly have a re-fill before.  If you do a trial within a month or two before the wedding your eyelashes might fall out from the trial and not grow back quickly enough to look full with the real event.
  • I had them done once.  They looked really nice (I have no lashes really).  Everyone at work noticed them and commented about them.  they make your eyes really pop.

I would sugest a trial way before the wedding to see how you feel and react to them.  I did not like them.  I felt like one of the old fashioned baby dolls with the closing eyes that have the long stiff eyelashes (think Big Baby in Toy Story 3).  They were a bit uncomfortable and I think me and the latex based glue were not getting along very well.  Aftwerward, my own sparse eyelashes stated to fall out when I got them removed.

Now, I found some non-latex eyelash glue and some fake half-length lashes that I use for special events.
  • Ive had them done. in fact I got them before my vegas trip in March.. they stayed on for 4 weeks and then I had them "filled" .. it can be expensive, so I stopped for now, feeling that I was becoming a little too high maintanence.. lol. But I am getting them on again before my Sept 1st wedding.. just so I have them for my whole Vegas trip. I love how even if you arent wearing makup, they look fabulous and when you do, it takes like one swipe of mascara and they are perfect. Takes a while for installation, like 2+ hours!! I had the individual ones put on each lash. You will love them.
