In suite reception

So, FI and I have decided that we are having an in suite reception at the MGM grand! Anyone who has had a reception there please I need advice! We at thinking abut getting food from Jason's deli and a cake from retro bakery! We are having 20 guests at the most. Also, where is afoot place to buy alcohol? Please HELP!!!!

If you'll have a rental car, my recommendation is Lee's Liquor:

I recommend going after you arrive and before the hotel because Lee's is a lot closer to their airport than it is to the hotels so you'll be back tracking by going later.

If you're looking for a place to walk to, I'd recommend Wallgreens on the strip right out the front door of the MGM to the north.  It wont' be the greatest prices but it's convenient and safe 24 hours a day.  It also looks like there are two liquor stores just east of the MGM that are a block away.  I have no personal experience with either of them though and would not go that way at night.

I know when i was planning an in suite brides had trouble getting outside catering into MGM, and some got hit with fees for it so i wish you gl maybe with all the renos they are being more lienent!

The MGM Grand told me today that they no longer do in suite receptions, however I spoke to someone a couple of days ago who said they do. I am confused. Can you send me a point of contact for who you are working with? Thanks in advance.
