suite suggestions for girls trip?

Hi everyone,

Some friends and I are thinking about planning a girls trip to Vegas in January. I hope everyone does not mind my asking, but I was thinking of getting a suite for us to share - I'd like to keep the cost reasonable since we won't be in the room much but I do want something nice-ish.  Doesn't need to be the Wynn or super high end.  Any ideas?  I would prefer the strip with this group as opposed to downtown.

How many will be going with you and what's your budget for the room?

At my wedding, a group of friends stayed at the Signature at MGM Grand. They loved it, and from pictures it looks very nice. I think they booked it through VRBO.com

Planet Hollywood's PH Towers have some big suites that aren't super expensive, and they look pretty cool.

My wedding was at the Platinum Hotel, which is a non smoking non gambling property, about .5 miles from the strip (a block or two behind Bally's). They have a 2 bedroom suite that is AMAZING. We booked it for our rehearsal dinner and it was the most amazing hotel room I've ever seen in person. We had it on a Thursday night and I think it was about $400/night.

Thanks to those that have responded so far!  I think we'll be five or so - I'm not 100% sure yet.  I think I'd like to try to keep it $500 or under per night. The Platinum could be a great idea actually - thank you!

Ditto everything Natrasha said.  The next time we go we are staying at PH or Platinum, I've always wanted to stay there and the suites look great.  The Monte Carlo has some nice suites too.
