• It depends on where you are having it, what time of year and date. Plus coupon codes, etc. Are you second guessing it?
• im not second guessing it.. I just want to make sure the amount is the norm.. you know.. Im having it July 12, 2013.. and were having around 30 people..

• It depends on what suite you get, who you get to cater, if you want bartenders, dj, etc. The price can be as low or high as you want it....the question is what is your budget then maybe we can give you advice?
• well Stardust suite at the Orleans said their f&b min is 3500.. and you use their catering and that includes a bartender and you can use the adjoining suite for that night. with tax and all she said its around 4600... that's a lot of difference.. I am waiting for the catering dept to contact me with more info

[QUOTE]Planet Hollywood has no minimum. I am having 30 people as well. Food catered by the hotel is the only thing we are getting through PH. We are having sushi, sashimi, Appetizers, and full dinner from Pf Changs for 2200. I also got a bartneder and server for 300. The room is 600 a night so you got a pretty good deal if it includes, cake, and alcohol.

Is this all from the hotel catering? where did you make the reservations and how soon did you make your reservation?

• I actually just got a call from Masterpiece Cuisine.. and they talked to me about everything.. They definitely put me more at ease regarding insuite receptions.. So I am going to look again and see where I really want.. I know I love the Vista at MB.. so I am going to see if I can do that, but does anybody know if they have had a dj there?

• if you look vg's knotties list it has all the reviews based on location so you can see what people have done. There definitely have been djs there

• Yes, you can have a DJ. The iPod dock works just fine too.

I paid approx $4,000 for my insuite without Travis Allen and all the small extras. That was for $50 people and no bartender or DJ hired, and includes the suite rental for two nights.

• I'm feeling inadequate like my insuite reception is going to suck! lol! We got a suite at the Flamingo, and we're ordering food from Jason's Deli that we're going to sneak up to the room, sodas and juice and some alcohol. No DJ, maybe some decorations. Pondering a cake/cupcakes from Retro bakery. I imagine it will all come to under $800. I don't really know what to do to make it fun for everyone, so I hope I can come up with something.

I agree with Nursing...don't compare. I'm not having a lot of extras but I know we're going to have a blast regardless. DJ is my iPod, heavy appetizers, little decoration and cupcakes. I'm in charge of alcohol since FI doesn't drink so I may hire a bartender because I can't mix drinks to save my life lol....but it's not a neccessity so only if the budget allows.
