Artisan Reviews?

Does anyone know of any past or present knotties who have gotten married there?  I'm talking to the coordinator and would like some real life reviews.  They have been bought by some company so they aren't going into foreclosure but what I've read they are a bit of a party hotel (but aren't they all?)

    Yes, check out the sticky at the top of the boards with all the knotty bios. I believe Shaq got married there earlier this year. She has some really nice photos, but im not sure if they are still available

    I work really close to it.  The chapel is small, and I would say it would be suited for a gothic wedding.  Lighting is dim.  The hotel itself is quirky in a good way.  Their pool is quite the happening party at all hours of the day. 

    I've heard they will also do outdoor ceremonies.  Not sure where that location is.  Not sure where they'd do a reception, but they have a library/den kind of room and a restaurant. 

    It's a really unique place.  Probably not for everyone.  It'll depend on your particular tastes.  I like it, but I have coworkers who don't.

    Yeah the hotel lobby is different looking with all those old photos on the wall and ceiling. It reminded me of the Haunted Mansion. I have seen the outdoor spot where they do ceremonies. You walk out of the lobby and go down a pathway by the pool and its surrounded by lots of trees and plants its very lush. Then they have a patio built for the ceremony. From what I remember its on the smaller side, I m not sure how many could fit exactly but I cant imagine more than 50.
