Do I have to do something with my wedding licence in Ontario to make it legal here?

No, nothing needs to be done here with the license.  I didn't change my name so I actually didn't do anything when we got back.  I don't think you'll have any problem using your Vegas marriage licence to get your name changed.  Just be sure to order the official copy of the marriage license from Clark County and you'll be set.
