in suite reception question

So i know a lot of you are planning (or have had) your wedding reception in a suite. I had a question... are you doing cocktail receptions with passed hors douvres or are you doing sit downs? The only reason I ask is because i was wondering how the seating work? I Thanks!

Mine is buffet style.  Our guests will just pick what they want then find a seat wherever they can.

We're doing ours at the Vista Suite but we'll have dinner downstairs and will go up to the room right after dinner for the party. We'll have light hors douvres to munch on while we party away LOL! I know I'm not much help

For the most part, there really isn't space to have a seated dinner. Most brides use the hors douvres and cocktail option due to space limitations and also cost...

Ours was passed and then we had a buffet dinner.  We had more than enough space though in the Stardust suite.  Everyone had a place to sit if they wanted to sit and eat.

The Stardust Suite would perhaps be a good option since it is huge! There are other suites that are larger, but not as budget-friendly.

We had a separate buffet table arranged with all the food but since the suite had a generously sized dining table all our guests ended up sitting at it. It was very close to a sit down dinner but the food itself consisted of heavy hors d'ouvres.
