Travis Allen, or other ideas??

I am not a huge Elvis fan, but I think it would be fun to have Elvis stop by for a song and a few pics.  My fiance thinks its too cliche but hello we are getting married in Vegas.  What do you think?  Any other ideas?  I thought of show girls but what would they do??

Any ideas would be great.

I just booked him and everybody I’ve told is really excited. You could have other impersonators (Marilyn or the Rat Pack) but what I like about Travis Allen is he performs and takes pic's so he actually doing something not just wandering around talking to your guests. Which personally I think is weird. On a completely different note Photo booths are crazy fun with the right crowd.

Oh yeah.  Our photo booth was a HUGE hit.  I was actually pretty surprised - the dance floor would be empty because people were lining up for the photo booth...

What about some dancing show girls? That way you keep the Vegas feel!

Also the rat pack group does sing as i looked into it- and I think you can get a sammy davis as well.

Piano man. I am regretting not having him all night. I love fun piano players. Oh, and we have Travis Allen for the RD. I think that you really need to embrace Vegas when you are there. Otherwise, one may as well get married at home. IMO.

I don't get married often, but when I do, I do it in Las Vegas.

I love this sentiment and am so using this should anyone make a comment about my "themed" wedding! I want it to be fun and playful, not a wedding out of a box, so who cares if my invitations aren't standard cream with raised printing... they're FUN.

    Sorry... hehe.

I booked Travis Allen and i was going to make it a surprise to my FI, but i slipped in convo with Mom... However to my surprise he was totally on board with the idea!
He is sometimes anti-campy ideas ... but he loved it!
I als must say like others before ITS VEGAS! Even though i want a classy formal thing at Wynn... I too cannot deny the whole FUN & CAMPY VEGAS!

    I read somewhere... Sinatra came?

    maybe a frank sinatra impersonator?

but really like the others have said, if you're not gonna vegas it up - then why get married in vegas?

We used Travis, and we kept it a surprise (well my mum knew cos she asked the question above) and it went off really well. A few our guests mentioned they'd be pretty dissapointed if elvis didnt show up.  Also Travis can do 1950s young Elvis, which could be a little less cliche than jumpsuit Elvis
