Hi brides! I am new to the site we just got engaged on 2/19/11 I got my webpage going and joined here, bought my planning book and decided kind of what wedding we want but now I am at like a block what do I do firsat or next or what Help!!

    Welcome and CONGRATS on your engagement!!

    The next thing I would do is decide on your budget. Once you know how much you can spend on your vendors and details, it will make things a lot easier for you. Then figure out your guest list. When you know how many people you plan to invite, you'll be able to pick a venue that meets your needs.

    Good luck! The other ladies on this board are awesome and full of great ideas.

    We live in Charlotte, but rwe really want to get married on a cruise leaving from Charleston, SC. I love that city and I love cruises- I used to work onboard. I think I have our budget down but then what do you do about like family who says no I wanna buy this or do it this way its cheaper or blah blah blah and since we are sort of doing a destination wedding where do I find invites or what not. Wow your wedding is soon. How do you feel now what was it like for you in the beinging?
