Picked up my dress today

and it needs very little in alterations! Just needs to be hemmed in the front and have cups sewn in (and the bustle). Anyway it's now hanging in the guest room closet, 'cause AA wanted $170 for the alterations and $80 for the bustle. Highway robbery I tell ya!

And I realize how badly I need a haircut and dye job, hmmm maybe tomorrow afternoon

Very pretty!! Yeah DB tried to rip me off so I told them I will take it elsewhere and somehow they went from $200 to $50. They know they can rip people off!

I've been wondering about you.  It looks great!  I'm sure you'll find a good tailor or someone who can beat their prices.

Looks lovely, your dress shop will always charge more cos they know most ppl will use them for ease :-)

Oooh, so pretty! The back is especially flattering.

Can I just say that I am loving the influx of non-strapless dresses lately? Nothing against girls with strapless, but it seems like 90% of the options are strapless. It's nice to see some different trends!

I love it! The front is soooooooo pretty and the draping is great to show off your figure without being too much. It reminds me of my favorite eve gown. Happy for you that you found the one! :-)

Thanks ladies. It's now hanging in the guest bedroom closet. Don't need to worry about alterations until August or so. A former co-worker gave me the number of a lady she used for her dress. Said the lady was amazing and a great price.

FI and I are on a pretty good workout and diet routine right now, so hopefully by the time the wedding rolls around I won't have to wear Spanx under my dress. Mountain biking 11 miles, 3 times a week is totally kicking my ass.

WOW!  I LOVE it.  You look fantastic.  I love the rouching, love the straps, love the corset.  All of it :)

    Congrats!

That's awesome! I wish my FI liked to bike. I love it. If I could change one thing about him, that would be it.

I really don't want to have to wear Spanx under my dress. Bathroom time will be difficult enough. Spanx is my savior though, so we'll see what is more important in 3.5 months!
