Addressing our save the dates question

Is it okay to use address labels done on the computer for our save the dates?  Or should I take the envelopes somewhere and have them laser printed?

Do whatever you prefer. I had custom labels made for the invites, so honestly I don't see the problem with labels at all.

I did labels too - they were clear labels, with a fancier font. If anyone noticed, they didn't say anything!

Diamond, I'm glad you asked this, because I am working on my STD's this weekend and am unsure of what I should do.

My wedding is in June so I'm aiming to send my save the dates out by September.  I still need to find a save the date so that is our task this weekend.  I am also getting a list of guest addresses so that once I figure out how I want to do them I'm well prepared. 

I'm thinking it might be easier to get the list of addresses together and go to Kinko's.  That way it's less stress for us.  The less stress the better!

I did labels for my STDs using a script font and my "swirl" and hand wrote my invites.

We just did good ol' lables for our STD's, but had a local calligrapher do our invites.

We used labels for both the STD's and the invitations.  It was just easier for me, no one said anything to me about it.

I printed the address on the STD envelopes since they were a normal size and I found a template online for it...  But for the invites since the envelopes are oversized I'm just printing labels for them.  There's no local (English) calligrapher in our area and my attempts were just awful, lol.
