Newbie- Help!! +Venue Ideas+

Hey All! So... Not only am i new to this whole wedding planning stuff, im also new to these discussion boards!!

Im looking for some suggestions. Ive done a lot of internet searching, visted sams town, sunset gardens, tule springs, and bootlegger. I cant seem to find something that totally satisfies me. I have been leaning toward Sunset garden, but was hoping there was a way that i could accomidate 125 guests without having to spend 12,000+ .... HELP!! Outdoors is great. Im pretty simple.... as long as me, my man, and our guests can enjoy out time together with some good music and drinks ill be pleased!!! :)

  • I think Revere could get you in that price range for that number:

  • What about the Grove?  It's out near tule springs, has a beautiful outdoor gazebo, and is REALLY reasonably priced.  I also checked out Spring Mountain ranch, while I was looking around.  They have a nice private area that could be dressed up well and an open grassy area to hold the ceremony.  The only downfall to Spring Mtn Ranch was you have to be out of there by 5pm :(  Also as Vegasgroom suggested check into some of the golf courses.

  • Check out all that boox287 and vegasgrm have suggested.  Especially the Grove.  I'm having my wedding at the Historic Fifth Street School, and get to choose all my vendors (helps with cost).  My rental fee is under $2000 and they have tables and a prep kitchen.  You might want to check it out.  If you google "historic fifth street school las vegas wedding" some photos will pop up.  The venue is really beautiful, and there are different areas for you to choose from.

  • we're having ours at Wildhorse Golf course which is pretty close to Sunset Gardens and very reasonably priced.  And the coordinator there is soo helpful and responsive and definitely willing to work with you.

  • <div>hi, and congrats on ur engagement!! i have a questino for you,  may i please ask what you didn't like about Sams Town? I was thinking of getting married there, but haven't had a chance to fly out and see it in person. Did you see the ceremony and reception spots? Should i avoid it all together? I only will have about 40 guests. </div><div>
