Yolos Mexican Grill - A: We had our Welcome dinner here for 32 people the night before the wedding. It is located right in Planet Hollywood on the casino level. The food was awesome and the service was wonderful. They put us in the back of the restaurant and cornered off our tables to make it more private. We had buckets of coronas put on the tables and they served mini margaritas. My in-laws hosted the food and if guests wanted alcoholic drinks they could go get it themselves from the bar. We had Filet and Salmon, rice and black beans and a salad. Everyone loved the food and the prices were great, I definitely recommend this place!
Planet Hollywood Hotel- A: We loved this hotel. It has everything you need, we didn’t really leave the hotel that much. The Miracle Mile Shops are awesome and give you a lot of extra options for food and bars. Most of our guests stayed here and we got a good deal going through Total Experience. All the rooms were cleaned and every guest who tried the 20 tip trick at check-in got upgraded to a bigger room with a great room! The beds are sooo comfy. They also did their best to keep all our party as close as possible. The location of the hotel is perfect too, right in the center of the strip.
Fountainview Boulevard Suite at PH – A: We loooved our suite. We originally had booked the Panorama Suite for the reception, but the front desk got us a great deal on the fountainview Boulevard Suite that we couldn’t pass up. It was huge and the décor was awesome. We had 42 people in the suite and were very comfortable. We also had two huge windows that looked out to the Bellagio Fountains, it was awesome. There was plenty of seating and tables to put everything on, and the air hockey table was a huge hit! I didn’t hear much about the Boulevard Suites on the board so I was nervous to get this instead of the Panorama, but I am so glad I did –it was amazing!
Masterpiece Cuisine – A: Scott was so easy to work with and the food was AMAZING! We had crab stuffed mushroom crabs, Gourmet mini sliders, Masterpiece Brucshetta and Teriyaki Chicken Satay. Everything was so delicious and everyone loved the food. We had plenty of food and some left over. Make sure you bring big ziplock bags if you use them!
Jason’s Deli – A: My Aunt works for the corporate office, so she got us a great deal on fruit and veggie trays. They were both set up very nice and came with awesome dips.
Cake Designs LV – A+ Our cake was amazing! Dawn was so easy to work with and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. They didn’t even mind changing our delivery time to an hour before what it was set for since I was nervous we would be late for the wedding. Our top layer was marble with Chocolate mousse and the bottom layer was red velvet with cream cheese filling. I love red velvet and this was by far the best cake I’ve ever had. It was so moist and delicious!
Treasure Island Hotel Chapel – A: We choose this chapel because the price couldn’t be beat and my Aunt and Uncle got married here a few years ago. Everyone I worked with was SO friendly and Claudia always responded back to my e-mails within 24 hours. I had a simple red rose bouquet and it was beautiful. The chapel is very very pretty, exactly what we were looking for. They made sure the music was right and everything went perfectly. The minister was awesome and made us feel like we weren’t just another Vegas wedding. I definitely recommend checking out this chapel if you’re looking for a hotel wedding!
Glamsquad –A: I got my hair and makeup done by James. I had no idea what I wanted and in the end he made me feel so gorgeous. Even though he was 15 minutes late due to traffic, it only took him about 35 minutes to do my hair and makeup and it was perfect. My hair didn’t move for the entire day and my makeup looked awesome in the pictures.
Bold Body Bronzing – F: I had bought a Groupon for this place to get a custom airbrush tan the Tues we arrived in Vegas (the wedding was on Thursday). I wanted it on Tuesday to let the tan set in and because we were super busy on Wednesday so I would have no time. My appt was scheduled for 8pm on Tuesday, and at about 3pm that day Kamela e-mails me to let me know she was in LA getting her machine fixed and that she would have to move the appt to Wednesday. I told her that wasn’t possible because I had a ton to do Wed and couldn’t sit in lounge clothes and not shower for 12 hours. She e-mailed me back and said she would pay for me to get it done elsewhere that night, so I e-mailed her back about it and she never got back to me. I still have not heard from her. I was extremely disappointed.
Presidential Limo – A: We rented a 20 person party bus to take us on our 2-hour strip tour. They were on time picking us up and the driver was nice. They had it stocked with champagne and red roses for all of the ladies and didn’t mind that the guys brought extra beer on to the party bus. He suggested some places to take photos too since we weren’t familiar with Vegas.
MikeL Photos – A+: What else can be said about these guys? They are amazing and truly great at what they do. We had SO much fun with Mike and Perkins. They were waiting for us outside the chapel and took us to some great spots for photos. We all had so much fun with them and I cannot wait to see our pictures! Whatever you pay to have them photograph your wedding is worth every penny!
Travis Allen – A+++: Travis was so amazing as Elvis. If you are questioning whether or not to get him, DO it, it was the best decision I’ve ever made. He came to the reception for 30 minutes and performed 4 songs. He looks just like Elvis and sounds just like him too – he is so cute! The guests were in aw when he walked up. I didn’t tell my hubby about it as I wanted to surprise him too and he was soooo happy. Travis also stayed for an extra 20-30 minutes taking pictures with people and he didn’t seem to mind at all. He definitely got the party started!
Pampas Brazillion Grille – B: We wanted to go to a nice restaurant so we choose this one in the Miracle Mile. The food was really good, but the portions were so small and it was overpriced.
