Overall it was great, I know that another knottie had a bad experience because there was no group dining reservation made and I had debated doing the same since the group dining reservation fee was $125 on top of the meals for everyone. We ended up paying it and although they don't have private rooms, they put us in a section alone at the back of the restaurant in two long tables (there was about 30 of us). We had pre-paid for everyone's meals and just paid the bill for drinks at the dinner. The staff was great and it was a good casual way to get everyone together.

I've been thinking of having our reception dinner at the buffet and then an after party in the vista suite with the cake and drinks
Im just worried about the seating because we are looking at 50-60 people.
But as long as they can group us together and keep us in the same area then Im happy!

we had our reception of 30 people in the bayside buffet, and then went up to our vista suite for cake, drinks and dancing.  the buffet was awsome, price was right, and service was great.

I was thinking of doing the same thing for around 50 people. Did you have a section of buffet reserved?Would you recommend getting flower center pieces for tables? Did you all enter at the same time and/or have to wait in line to get into buffet? Thanks
