Hey guys! I am at the Vegas airport insanely early to go back to my home (the hubby is going back to Europe so we had to go on dif flights... Visa things!)
I just wanted to grade each of my experiences on my day because I know from reading other people's posts has helped me tremendously!
Wedding Ceremony at Mgm Grand Casino- The Terazza- Grade A-
The location was insanely beautiful and I couldn't have asked for a better day! However, they messed up our music which threw me off and it was bad music
We were supposed to have the Beatles and John Mayer in our ceremony but instead it was "When a Man Loves a Woman" and Michael Bolton. If that had not of happened I would have given it an A+. The music did really piss me off, but the staff are refunding us for the price of the DVD and they were really nice and other than that there were no issues with planning. The flowers we got from the package were also nice and the staff members really were nice and on the ball (apart from the music)
Mgm Grand Buffet (Reception 1) Grade A
I had people from all over the world at my wedding and everyone raved about the food. It was just a place to get everyone together for brunch after the wedding but it was nicer than I thought since there were bad reviews online. Also, the sushi they had was so good and I am kind of a sushi snob.
Pearl- Modern Chinese Restaurant (Main Reception Grade A++++
Omg, so insanely nice! Beyond my expectations. We had our proper fancy reception here and the food and service was out of this world. We were in the Didi room and it looked so pretty with my red cupcakes with rose petals. We had loads of different chinese food per person, it was like a 5 course meal and everything was just so insanely nice, from the food, the decor and the service. It was probably my favorite meal ever! Their Tso Chicken was to die for and everyone raved about the cocktails and the food. Like I said, beyond my expectations.
Freeds Bakery Grade A+
I called Freeds ages before my Vegas wedding and the lady I talked to was very helpful and just wrote down everything and it was delivered on time to the Pearl, the presentation was amazing and the cupcakes were lovely. I had 3 different types, red velvet, double chocolate and vanilla and they were all very nice. The baby cake they had with the rose presentation was great too. Super impressed and everyone raved about the double chocolate cupcakes.
