Save the Dates in the mail!

Happy Friday!

Today I am putting our save the dates in the mail.  Last night I spent putting them in envelopes, addressing, sealing, stamping and putting return address labels on them.  Laughing  And I am at the 9 month mark today.

What a great way to start off my Friday!

That is really cute!!!  Did you make those yourself, if so, please share how you did it!  I love DIY projects :)

Thanks!  We designed it ourselves with the help of other playing card ideas on the net.  We bought our own paper (ivory, linen 60 lb) and brought the design to Kinkos where they edited it.  They found a better spade to use so we went with the one they found.  They printed it for us and rounded the corners like an actual playing card.  I also bought ivory envelopes to match.  The linen paper has one side with texture where as the other side is smooth, we used the smooth side to print on as the other side doesn’t hold ink well.  I LOVE the way it turned out!  If we were to order online it would have been $250+ for 100 or 125 (I don’t remember the qty I chose).

    Linen paper $25 maybe

    Envelopes $10

    Stamps (roll of 100) $44

    Kinko’s (print & cut) $21

Clear labels (I know it’s frowned upon) $25 maybe
