Nevada-Las Vegas

Reviews 6/28 (I know, kinda late)

It's been awhile since our wedding and I'm sorry I didn't post these earlier but work has kept me pretty busy. We had a few things that didn't go the way we planned on our wedding day but it was the best day of my life and I wouldn't change a thing! I'm sure I probably forgot something so if anyone has questions just let me know.

Caesars Palace Venus Garden- A+
Our ceremony was at 5:30pm so the pool was still open and it was still really hot outside. Luckily, we could see the garden from our room so we knew beforehand that it would be completely shaded by 4:30 and no noise was heard from the pool. I know that some people were wondering about guests being able to take pictures during the ceremony. Unfortunately, guest are not allowed to take pictures until after the ceremony was over. The ceremony was short and sweet, our video is only 11 minutes long! Overall, the garden was beautiful, no complaints at all.

Officiant Brian Ross- A+
He was great! He literally met with me for less than 5 minutes, since we didn't do a rehearsal, right before the ceremony and he still remembered our best man and maid of honor's names.

Wedding Coordinator-Lindsay DeSantiago- A
Lindsay was good at responding in a timely manner. We went to Vegas for my birthday in March and met with her to go over most of the information for the ceremony. The only thing bad that I have to say  (which is partly my fault) is that my flower girl didn't have any flowers. I asked her about them to figure out if they supplied them or if we need to get fake flowers. The only thing she said about them was that fake ones stuck to the ground and were hard to pick up. I completely forgot about them after that so my 4 year old cousin didn't have any flowers :( Overall, she did a good job.

LDT Tours- C
We had about 65 people to transport from Caesars to the reception and back. They where supposed to meet in the front of the hotel but they went to the side. They also got lost on the way to the reception.

Limo provided by Caesars- D
We had an hour of limo service with our package that we could use whenever we wanted. We opted to use it for our transportation to the reception so we did this through our coordinator. The limo was supposed to be at the front of the hotel at 6:45pm. 7:05pm came and went and still no limo. Our photographer just happened to be near us and he called to see where they were.  At this point we were ready to just catch a cab when finally one showed up for us.  We're pretty sure the limo that came was one that was sent because the messed up. The guy had no idea where he was going and I had to tell him how to get to the reception. Needless to say, he got no tip.

Together Forever Receptions- A+
We wanted a reception with dinner, dancing, and plenty of alcohol but a reasonable price since we were expecting to invite at least 100 people. Every other place we looked at was at least $80 per person without alcohol.  My husband (still feels weird saying that) knowing that I wanted the full reception experience found them on the internet. They are technically on the strip but about 5 miles away from Mandalay Bay. They were great from the first contact we had with them. They have packages that you can choose from or just pick what you want. We choose the package with everything- DJ, cake, photography, linens, decorations, food and alcohol. We were quoted less than $5,000 for 100 people! They have specific people that they work with for the cake, DJ, and photography. From the first contact, Heather and her father were great! Heather was always quick to respond to any emails or phone calls. I highly recommend them for anyone with a budget.

Cakes by Amber- A+
Amber was great to work with. She does cakes as a part time job. The cake was amazing!!!! It was exactly how I wanted it to look and tasted better than any cake I've ever had. Great prices too.

VegasDJ Entertainment A+
We had DJ TNT and he was awesome! The playlist that we gave him only had about 16 must play songs and he did a great job with the rest. He kept people on the dancefloor all night long.

Caesars Palace- Palace Tower Premium room- A+
This room came free for 2 nights with our package. We had an amazing view of all of the pools from our room. We were on the 24th floor and could even see the Venus Garden from the room too. The bathroom was huge with 2 shower heads in the shower, a spa tub, and 2 toilets. Before we got there I was worried that there wouldn't be enough room for all of us to get ready but we had plenty of room! They even sent us chocolate covered strawberries and champagne on the first night and brought us a refrigerator to put the top tier of our cake in. The only thing I have to complain about was the wait in line to check in and out. We stood in line for about 30-45 minutes when we first arrived.
