I wedding crashed @ Cosmo (pics)

Hubby and I stayed at Cosmo right before New Years (I'll post reviews of our awesome room on a new thread). I noticed some sort of wedding store in the front of the casino, but somehow didn't check it out till my last day. It's a cute store that sells cute wedding stuff and has a mini chapel. I was browsing and one of the employees (dressed in a white tux) approached us and said there was a wedding starting soon and that we were more than welcome to watch. It was short and sweet the minister did a great job, and the couple was wonderful for letting us participate.

  • What's up with the mannequin witnesses? A little creepy
  • I think if the couple has no guests, they have the mannequins as stand ins so that it doesn't look too empty.

  • hubby is really excited for the wedding to start.

  • I could go for that back drop in my game room lol.

    I still say creepy.

Also, I looked at Cosmo's website. I do not like the idea that they will do faux ceremonies (in fact it looked like they were gearing more towards these) Making the ceremony "legally binding" was an add on!
  • Yeah, supposedly passers-by can look in from the sidewalk too to watch the weddings.

    Word.  Love it!

I'd rather not have the dummies at my wedding (with exceptions for some of my FI's real-life human friends - HEYYYYYYYYYY OH!).

I'm here all day.  Tip your servers.  Try the fish.

  • That back drop is nice!!!

Could look real good in our pool table area. Hmmm.

I wouldn't be a fan of random people being able to see from the street, odd.
