Knotties who tied at Platinum Misora - ceremony + reception?

Ladies,

if you got hitched at the Platinum terrace + Misora restaurant, pretty please - share your bio or photos.

I looked at the The List but there is only 1 bio from there :(

I think I have my heart set on that venue for both ceremony and reception but will make the final decision in December when we go for our scouting trip.

Any tips, pros and cons, photos will help!

Thanks!

I got married at the Platinum, but I used the pool deck/Kil@Wat. Everything was AMAZING. Also, they are willing to negotiate prices, minimums, etc. I wish I had negotiated MORE. My day was as close to perfect as possible. Also, the rooms there are amazing.

I noticed photos on Mike L's blog yesterday, and here's a couple who got married in Misora recently. I don't know if she's a knottie, but here are some good pictures of the space!

Ann&Erik (I think? I'm bad with exact screennames) just got married there too.

Here's a link with pictures from my scouting trip.
I had my wedding at Kil@Wat. It was amazing. Nicole & Marie were so willing to go above and beyond. The food was great. Best food I've ever had at a wedding. The room, the BATHTUB, was great. We hosted our rehearsal dinner in the room (16 people in the princess suite) Saved us a ton of money!

    Ladies, you are GOLDEN!!!

Natrasha - I had checked out your bio a while ago which is the only one I had originally seen! Thank you for that!

And Ann and Erik's pics were also great!

LilMissScareAll - your scouting pics are going to make me commit before I even go for my scouting trip (next month)! Thank you so very much!

The Princess Suite is large enough to host a rehearsal dinner? How big is the dining table (does it have one or did you do cocktail)? Did they upgrade your suite when you got there?

I love Platinum because they seem to be the most flexible ones and have the best price. I am only worried about going there and really not liking the venue but I can't see this happening after seeing all of your photos!

I am loving it! I am going to book the Misora I think!

I had my rehearsal dinner in the Marquise Suite. It has a big dining table and SO MUCH ROOM. It also has two bedrooms. I never wanted to leave that room. EVER. We had just under 25 people for dinner, and we had burgers, fries, and salads.

We did get upgraded to a Princess Suite upon check in. It does not have a separate dining table, just the kitchen counter/bar. The room is still big, but I don't think I'd go any bigger than Scarie's party.

    Platinum rocks!

I agree. We had just enough seats for everyone. But we brought the chair from the bedroom and the two from the patio out to the living room. Our rehearsal dinner was also very simple. We had Jason's Deli deliver. We did the Plain Jane Potato bar (the 'taters were huge BTW. Most people ended up spliting them in half so we had lots of leftovers) & a veggie pasta & chicken pasta. We set everything up on the kitchen bar.Plus we had a bunch of wine and beer in the fridge.

We did get upgraded to the Princess Suite as did my parents and a few other of our guests. Most of us were staying Wed - Mon, so that might have been some influence.

Platinum is definatly a group of "YES" people. I don't think we were told no to anything we asked for. The staff was so willing to go above and beyond. I don't think you'll regret your choice if you do go with them. I booked them sight unseen. (we didn't do the scouting trip until a month after we signed the contract with them)
