Good morning?

I'd love to get this board back up and running so tell me about your weekend.

I don't care much about the super bowl but you can tell me about your plans for that I suppose.

Is there anything you're looking forward to this week?

Re: Good morning?

  • Morning!

Friday was pretty low key, but Saturday morning we did some shopping for a couple little projects I wanted to work on ( a wreath and then something for DH's office at work). We had hoped to get some yard work done too, but by the time we got home it was raining so the rest of the day was a 'veg' day :)

Yesterday we went and tried out a new church. It's smaller, but that's not a bad thing. It's just different than what we're used to. We'll see how it goes as far as whether we like it and will continue to go. Last night we went to our neighbors to watch the game and just catch up, which was fun. The game was pretty good, but I found the commercials to be wayyy under on the humorous area.

We also talked to our other neighbors about seeing if their daughter (she's like 12) would like to pet sit for us while we're gone and she said yes (along with her dads help), so we're really happy about that since now we won't be spending 500ish bucks on boarding them at the kennels.

I look forward to getting back to riding this week. I've been down for about 1.5 weeks due to a riding accident, so I'm ready to get back one :)

    What about you?

  • Morning!

We had a friend (and his dog) stay for the weekend, and then had a bunch of friends over last night.  I have REALLY missed getting all of my college friends together.  It was awesome to all be in one place again.  It wasn't like we were all grown up, it was more like being back in school.

I'm headed to work late today because I had a doctor's thing this morning.  Emma's exhausted and moving from one place to another to nap.
  • Hey Hey! Mine is more of a good afternoon, I'm having a lazy day. I ate way too many wings, poppers, and mozzarella sticks yesterday so now I feel kind of yucky.

Pirate, I'm with you on the college get together. We went back to campus on Friday, FI had some alumni fraternity event so I tagged along. It was great being back in that college atmosphere partying with our old friends.

  • The last time I was on campus was for our engagement pics.  It was so strange.
  • Did you guys bring anyone to your first fitting?
  • One of my BMs went with me to my first fitting. I know some people go alone, but I wanted another persons opinion on everything (even though I trusted Olga 100%). It was just that I had bought my dress alone and I wanted to see what someone else thought.

Plus I think it lightens things up a bit. You have someone to chit chat with while you're getting measured here and there.

  • That's what I was thinking too. I bought my dress by myself at Alfred Angelo in Atlanta so my Mom wasn't able to go dress shopping with me so I figured this was the next best thing.
