Anyone have any experience with this??
We saw something at a family member's wedding..For the father/daughter and mother/son dances, the DJ had (ahead of time) interspersed the songs with comments or stories from the father/daughter and mother/son. It made those dances much more personal and the guests all loved it. When we asked them how it was done they said they each just sat with the DJ separately for a little bit while he asked them questions about when they were younger etc, and then he put it all together in a montage, of sorts, before the wedding.
I emailed All Night Long, who we were planning to book, how much this would be and they responded that each song is $200.. yikes! Their 4 hours at the reception is only $600, that almost doubles the bill!
I'm just wondering if anyone else attempted to have this done. I'm thinking of maybe emailing DJ Godzilla since his regular prices are so low anyways, but does he have the set up for something like that? Anyone have his email handy?
